HVPPSNY’s very own Tom Doyle will speak about Ambient Light, its properties and how light can be used in various types of landscape and nature images. He will continue with image composition and explore some obvious devices such as simplicity and the guideline of thirds as well as some less obvious strategies such as dominance and balance. His images from the past 14 years will demonstrate these techniques. (Tom’s full bio can be found in the June Newsletter on our website. )
